Indie Cork Film Festival 2015
IndieCork presents short films, documentaries and features and a number of special events. It’s all about creativity. Cinema that engages with social, political and cultural matters is also important and the opportunity for you the audience to meet with filmmakers. The overlap between music and cinema whether as music docs or music promo films also interests us.We intend to celebrate the vibrancy of the filmmaking sector in Cork and the emerging talent of local filmmakers. Independent production in the food and craft brewing arenas flows nicely into our celebration of all things independent – expect a very special event that brings these pleasures together!
That is just a tiny taster, we look forward to telling you about exciting projects with collaborating organisations and individuals over the coming months. The genesis of the festival has proven just what an appetite Cork has for all things Indie. We thank you for the support and encouragement for this new festival.
