Thank you for taking an interest in Screen Producers Ireland. We hope that you choose to become a member and lend your voice to the national representative organisation for Independent Film, Television, Animation and Digital production companies.
The annual membership fee is €400 per company and the membership year runs from January to December.
Screen Producers Ireland introduced a new SPI Emerging Producers Rate on March 1 st 2020. The new member rate is €200, (50% reduction on current rate) and enables emerging producers to access full SPI membership benefits as they are in the start up phase of building sustainable independent production companies.
The criteria for the Emerging Producer Rate is as follows:
A producer / production company must have had a short / feature shown at one of the following Irish festivals or short strands (or international equivalents to be decided on a case by case basis) between March 2018 and March 2021.

- Galway Film Fleadh
- Cork Film Festival
- Richard Harris Festival
- Waterford Film Festival
- Virgin Dublin International Film Festival
- Kerry Film Festival
- Belfast Film Festival
- Storyland
- Frameworks
Please note: A producer / production company that has had content commissioned by RTÉ (outside of Storyland), TG4, Virgin Media TV, or other international broadcasters, or distributed nationally / internationally in cinemas, is not eligible.
SPI is largely funded by our members, through the annual membership fee and an independent production levy. Details of the independent production levy payable can be found in clause 10 of the Membership Terms & Conditions.
